Dos

-Apply the ice-pack for 3~5 days after surgery (2-minute intervals recommended). -In case of necessity, you may continue the ice-pack for another several days. -You may wear contact lenses 3~4 weeks after surgery. -You may wear makeup after stitches removed, but putting heavy eye makeup could be started after 3~4 weeks of your surgery. -After eyelid surgery, try to give strength lift your eyes firmly. -Use a clean cotton swab when you apply the ointment by yourself. -In case of using scar ointment by doctor's order, you can apply 2 weeks after your stitches removed.

Don'ts

-Do not rub your eyes. -Do not sleep face downwards and irritate the suture. -Do not use your fingers or tissue cleaning up your eyes or applying ointment. -Your vision could be blurry if you applied the ointments over amount.

Notice

-You may experience tears running and accumulating, discomfort when flickering eyes in the recovery period. -Dull sensations around the eyes are temporary symptoms after surgery. -Redness around the surgical sites is a normal reaction, which gradually disappears after 1-3 months. -Due to the temporal blockage of sebaceous glands in the middle of the healing process, it is possible to have tiny white granules (white dots) on the skin around the incision site.
